Fovea Creative

Marketing for good. Marketing for the people.

After consulting for nonprofits and small businesses over the course of the last nine years, I officially decided to “brew” Fovea Creative in the summer of 2019 as a way to help do-gooders, dreamers, and believers change things for the better. Since starting out in the industry, I’ve noticed that artists, academics/students, nonprofits, small businesses, and socially and environmentally responsible organizations often cannot gain the attention they deserve due to not being able to access affordable, well-executed marketing products and consulting. With a background in communication, marketing, and psychology, I approach all projects holistically and aim to gain an in-depth understanding of an individual or brand before providing deliverables. With a clear vision for the future, Fovea Creative strives to help the underdogs rise up and propel humanity forward. I founded Fovea Creative on a simple philosophy – marketing for good, marketing for the people. With the highest visual acuity, we see you. Let us help you tell your story.

Who Am I?

I am an eco-friendly, coffee-addicted, techie – and marketer. My abbreviated bio may lead you to guess my passions; born to an outdoorsy father with an interest in business and engineering and a teacher mother, I have always loved the environment, communication, design, and technology. Because of these passions, I am extremely interested in the environmental impact of marketing and the use of technology to improve social and environmental efforts. I spend the majority of my free time immersing myself in the latest conservation, marketing, and tech news, then attempting to formulate ways to integrate them. A researcher at heart, I always take time to analyze and assess my clients before beginning work. As a sixth-generation Floridian, I adore the diversity of South Florida’s culture, ecosystems, and people. Over the years, I’ve developed a knack for creating “digital art” through various design applications. All of the art and photography on Fovea Creative has been designed by or taken by me.

Why Marketing For Good?

Prior to starting college, many years ago, I had declared to obtain a degree related to advertising – my goal was to create ethical advertising, a paradox in itself. However, I was determined to use my skills to help nonprofits and conservation centers spread awareness of their missions. I began by lending my skills to nonprofits in need and serving on voluntary committees. Fast forward to the last few years, I began teaching courses at Clemson University focused on “marketing for good” and simultaneously began to focus more of my consulting on this concept. Since then, I decided to dedicate my skills to help individuals and brands improve their tech integration, digital literacy, crisis communication, brand identity, public relations, and marketing efforts. In all of my work, I use analytics to guide my strategic decisions. Listening and gathering information enables companies and researchers to make informed decisions and create effective marketing as a response. Marketing for good helps put the power back in the hands of people and amplify their voices.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about my background and Fovea Creative!
